Student Persistence Effort Highlights:
In the past 10 years, Mason's first-time, full-time, baccalaureate degree-seeking student one-year persistence rates has gone up from 71% for the 1997 cohort to 85% for the 2006 cohort.
Mason's minority student persistence and graduation rates are higher than the national averages of similar institutions reported by Consortium of Student Retention Data Exchanges (CSRDE).
Student persistence and graduation rate reports are updated every fall after the official enrollment data is taken.
Persistence Rates:
The percentage of students who registered in fall term who also registered the
following fall term.
Graduation Rates:
The percentage of a freshman cohort that graduates within subsequent number of years.
